Self-Directed Trading: Fixed Income
Vision has relationships in place with a multitude of firms that specialize in fixed income securities so that we can offer our clients a wide selection of investment options. We have access to short term and long term products including U.S. Treasury and Agency securities, corporate securities, municipal securities and even certificates of deposit. As fixed income investments should comprise an important component of most investors’ portfolios, Vision will work with our clients to find them the right products and the right amount for their portfolios.
Low Commissions
Depending on the security, Vision may charge a reasonable mark-up or mark-down or sell the security on an agency basis with a very reasonable commission. For example, for bonds we charge $25 per trade plus $1.00 per bond (each bond has a face amount of $1,000 so, for example, a $50,000 investment would cost only $75).
Portfolio Construction and Review Services
For asset values of $500,000 or greater we can provide very high end services normally only available to high net worth clients. Take advantage of Vision’s capabilities to have your current fixed income portfolio reviewed to see if you should keep the status quo or make any changes. If you have funds that you are thinking of investing (either you have cash, other securities you plan to sell to raise cash, or have a liquidity event coming up such as an IRA rollover or inheritance) Vision can provide you with a detailed and informative report making specific fixed income recommendations based on parameters unique to you. The information you provide us regarding your risk tolerance, liquidity needs, time horizon, age, tax bracket, state of residence, etc. is used to custom tailor a fixed income portfolio expressly and only for you.
