ORDER ENTRY SCREEN

If you choose, you can modify certain order parameters from the verification order ticket. These parameters include price, quantity and order type. For example, using the order entry screen, you might enter information to purchase 2 contracts of a given instrument. When the Order Verification screen is displayed, the real-time “snapshot” quote displayed on the screen might indicate a condition that warrants a change from 2 contracts to 1 contract. Any desired changes can be input on the Order Verification screen.

Finally, you have the opportunity to abort processing and return to the Order Entry screen. Simply click on the “Abort Processing” button.

Once the order is placed and received, it will be assigned an order number. The order number and order status will be displayed in the display grid on the Order Entry screen.

As soon as orders are filled, (completely or partially), you will be notified by a pop-up window that includes the fill information. To close the pop-up box, simply click the “OK” button.

The Xpress Line
The Xpress Line lets you enter orders quickly and easily by typing the order information into the provided text box. The Xpress Line cannot be used for spread or “OCO” orders. For these orders, use the pull-down and text boxes.

Care must be taken to enter the information correctly and in compliance with the required syntax. As information is typed into the text box, the drop-down and text boxes will be automatically populated with the typed information.
