ORDER ENTRY SCREEN

Xpress Line Syntax:

** All input must be separated by 1 space and is not case sensitive.

(The order in which data is entered using the Xpress Line is the same order in which it would be entered using the pull-down and text boxes).

Xpress Line Examples:

(“^” denotes 1 space)

B^1^GCM2^2850
(Buy 1 June 2002 Comex Gold at $285.00)

S ^1^CN2^220C^80^OB
(Sell 1 July 2002 Corn 220 call option at 8 cents or better)

B^1^MEM2^104000^STOP
(Buy 1 June 2002 10-yr. T-note at 104000 on a stop)

S^1^UCM2^102575^STWL^102000
(Sell 1 June 2002 S&P 500® at 1025.75 stop with a limit of 1020.00)

NOTE: Although data in the Xpress Line text box “drives” the pull-down and text boxes at the top of the screen, the Order Verification screen is created using the data that is in the pull-down and text boxes (not from the data in the Xpress Line text box).

Use the YYYYMMDD format for the good-through-date information for both the Xpress Line entry mode and the non-Xpress Line entry mode.

Hit the “Clear” button to reset or blank out all fields on the screen.
