PREFERENCE SCREEN

The Preference screen is used to define a quote page for the Quotes screen, customize a symbol list for the Order Entry screen, and set default order type and quantity for orders created directly from the Quotes screen.

Creating a Quote Page
Add contracts to your quote page, up to a maximum of 40, by entering the contract information directly in the text input boxes, or by using the pull-down and text boxes at the bottom of the screen. Once you have entered your quotes, click the “Save Page” button and your settings will be saved. To view your quotes, switch to the Quotes screen and click the “Refresh Quote Page” button. You can clear the entire page by clicking the “Clear Page” button.

The order in which your quotes will be displayed is determined by the position of your quote entries in the text boxes. The quote page is populated by row, from left to right.

For quotes entered by typing in the text boxes, the required syntax is as follows:

Futures: CCMY or C^MY
Options: CCMY [(P)(C)]XXXXX or C^MY [(P)(C)]XXXXX

Note that for 1-character codes, you must enter a space between the code and month. (XXXXX represents up to a 5-numeral strike price.)

You can also use the pull-down and text boxes to enter your quote information. Be sure to specify a position for each quote in your customized quote table. When entering quote information in this manner, do not concern yourself with proper syntax. The program will automatically apply the proper syntax.
